The heart of The Inn is its tavern and dining area. Now, most New England Inns brag of their many original oils depicting century old scenery of a life long past. The only original oils in our tavern are some of the painted walls that haven't been touched in over 200 years. This is the true character of what we call, a place with characters. It was best described by one of our local residents who was interviewed during a national network show. He was asked what he thought of The Inn, and he responded "Oh....it's just like another room in my house!". Its richness is in its people, both local and those who visit from time to time.
